Variety originating from the USA, spontaneous mutation of Berkeley tie dye (crossing of "Cherokee purple" and "Green Zebra") discovered and fixed by Brad Gates.

Fruit of 150 to 300 grams of more or less slender heart-shaped type.

Epidermis pinkish purple with green streaks more present in the upper part.

Dark red beef flesh, dense and fleshy, dark green gel. Excellent flavor.

Vigorous plant with great development remaining rather narrow, drooping foliage, indeterminate growth.

Excellent regular production from mid-season to the first frosts.
