It's difficult to trace the origin of this tomato, but it seems to have come from Europe, and was presented at the 2010 Seed Savers Yearbook.
Fruit weighing 200 to 400 grams, beefsteak-like, flattened at the poles, ribbed at the top and with rounded shoulders. The depression at the stalk attachment is wide and deep.
Apricot-orange skin, especially when ripe.
Dense, firm orange flesh with very few seeds. Sweet but fruity flavor.
Like all self-respecting Brandywines, foliage is potato-like. Average vigor, indeterminate growth.
Good yielding, fairly hardy variety, more suited to the second half of the season.
