Heirloom variety, from 1885 native to Chester County, Pennsylvania, USA. Variety with larger and smoother fruit than the classic Brandywine.
Large fruit of 180 to 400 grams, round beefsteak type slightly flattened at the poles and discreetly ribbed at the top.
Beefy flesh with a sweet and rich flavor. Excellent for sandwiches and salads.
Plant with regular foliage unlike other Brandywine.
