FRITZ ACKERMAN RED HEART
Native to Canada. Large dark red fruit with greenish shoulders, +/- 250 to 350 grams, blunt cordiform, almost oval.
An "off-type" variety by Fritz Ackeman that appeared in Tatiana's garden in 2010. The shape and colour do not match, so it may be a segregation or more prosaically a labelling error.

Very dense beefy flesh. Multi-seeded, small and frosty. Excellent old-fashioned tomato flavour.
Production in the second half of the season.
