A rare variety in the West, originating in Russia, where it is commonly grown.
Synonyms: Black Pertsevidny, Перцевидный Черный, Cuban Pertsevidny.
Fruit chubby 150-250 grams, elongated and "bumpy" ending in a point. Shiny, reddish-brown, almost purple skin.
Fleshy, dense paste-like flesh with little gel. Good flavour with a musky taste.
Extremely vigorous and robust plant with a wide spread easily exceeding 2.0m and reaching up to 5.0m.
Abundant production in the second half of the season (75 to 80 days).
